What is ADS-B Out?

ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast) is a surveillance technology in which an aircraft determines its own position via satellite navigation and periodically broadcasts it. Since January 1, 2020, ADS-B Out equipment has been required in most controlled U.S. airspace.

Required airspace includes Class A, B, and C airspace, Class E airspace at or above 10,000 ft MSL, within 30 nm of Class B airports, and above the ceiling of Class B or C airspace up to 10,000 ft MSL.

Our certified technicians perform on-site ADS-B compliance testing using FAA-approved ground testing equipment, verifying signal accuracy, data integrity, and system functionality — without requiring your aircraft to fly.
